My understanding is they cut the telephone poles in half for some reason. Then they end up in the garbage. Often when pushing the garbage the telephone pole will roll off the the bucket straight into the machine, windshield or hydraulic tank.

They are press-on Brawler solid tires. The machines is used in a rubbish application. The amount of different types of debri that comes into this one terminal is amazing. They receive a large volume of steel, wood it seems like everything. I have seen telephone poles in the trash. How does a telephone pole make its way on the truck all the way to the transfer station?
Ce sont des pneus pleins Brawler montés sous pression. Les engins travaillent au traitement des détritus. La variété des rebuts qui arrivent à ce terminal-là est étonnante. Ils reçoivent de grandes quantités d'acier, de bois, apparemment n'importe quoi. J'ai même vu, parmi les détritus, des poteaux de téléphone! Comment se fait-il qu'un un poteau de téléphone puisse faire tout le chemin sur un camion jusqu'à la station de transfert?[trad.Lucien]

L586 with a fire suppression system. That is what the red containers and lines are going around the machine.
L586 équipé d'un dispositif anti-incendie. C'est à ça que servent les extincteurs rouges et la tuyauterie autour de l'engin.[trad.Lucien]
